A trademark that tells Comac's story and represents its values. For us it is more than a distinctive trait. It is not just a simple font, color or symbol. Our trademark represents our vision, which puts people and professional skills at the centre

First Comac logo: agricultural machinery

It was in 1974 that Comac – Costruzione Macchine – and its first trademark were born.
The color chosen at the time was a bright light green, a symbol of growth and vitality. It evoked the world of nature and farming from which Giancarlo Ruffo, Comac's founder and brilliant tiller salesman of the 1970s, came.

The first restyling was in 1978. Changes were made to the style, font and color, the last of which gave way to a lively red, symbolizing passion and power and grabbing the eye – all defining features of the company's spirit in those years, when Comac started to make its stamp on the Italian market and make its first steps into the wider world.

In 1985 the Comac trademark was completely redesigned and this is how it still looks today. Red, symbolizing passion, remained. But the font changed. The new trademark took its inspiration from minimalist graphics. Its design is pared down to the essentials and the letters are joined up, apart from the final "C". That "C" gives the logo its personality and has become over time the icon of the trademark.

Over the years Comac has become ever more rooted in its history and proud of its values. Out of this, in 2003, came a slogan to accompany the trademark, one that would sum up the very essence of the company, the people who had relied on their professionalism to make Comac a trademark known the world over.
